Fiamma Awnings

Fiamma awnings have been growing in popularity the world over, as much for the elegance as for the sturdiness of their build.

They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and can be customized to suit most requirements. There are six basic models to choose from, although more customization is possible as and when required.

The six models, in no particular order are the Fiamma F45 Ti, the Fiamma F65, the F35 Pro, the Caravanstore and the Eagle. Each of them have their own benefits, particular to the model, but across the range of products, durability, ease of maintenance and good quality of construction have become renowned hallmarks.

Fiamma awnings start out at the basic F45 series, which are quick and easy to set up and operate, and are virtually unobtrusive when rolled up and attached at the side of the motorhome. The Fiamma F45 Ti L is a variant that is used on large motorhomes.

The F65 is a rather advanced version, and comes in two variants – the more advanced version being the F65 Titanium, which does not require any overhang. Both are renowned for their durability and quality of construction, and are increasingly popular with motorhome owners.

Both the F35 and the Caravanstore have been designed with simplicity in mind, but this focus on simplicity has in no way reduced the usefulness or all round ability of either model. The telescoped legs of the Caravanstore in particular are much appreciated – installation and rolling out could not be easier.

The Eagle is the latest awning from the Fiamma stables, and has already become a great success because it is self-supporting – it does not need any arms at the other end.

Fiamma offers a wide range of supporting accessories along with the awnings themselves. Brackets can be purchased separately from the Fiamma store, and you would be well advised to do so, to ensure compatibility and avoid guarantee issues. Fiamma also offers a motor as a separate accessory, which can really up the convenience quotient of your Fiamma awning.

There are a couple of other accessories that Fiamma offers up as well, including a rather nifty tool that helps keep the material on the awning taut. Depending upon your needs and your budget, you might want to take a look at these as well.

But all said and done, you’d be well advised to look at a Fiamma awning for your needs – elegant, durable products are a pleasure to operate don’t come by too often!
