Dorema Awnings Review
Dorema awnings are the last word in comfort and luxury when it comes to awnings – especially so if you are looking for awnings for your motorhome.
Not only are these three sided (with your motorhome effectively doubling up as a fourth wall), but are also very sturdy and convenient. Especially so in the case of modern Dorema awnings, which come equipped with enough features to launch a small rocket – or so it would seem.
Dorema awnings perhaps make the most sense for motorhome owners who put a premium on space. These awnings, once fully put up, can easily accommodate a large family within the confines – with the space in the motorhome itself coming as a welcome extra.
Over time, these awnings have come to be equated with comfort, not only for the oodles of space that they provide, but equally so for the reliability of the materials used, their unflappability (pun intended!) in bad weather, and their compactness when rolled up and on the road. But their single most impressive feature always has been, and always will be, space.
Consider the Hacienda Dorema annex, made from the impressive and hugely reliable Ten Cate All Season coated polyester. Not only is it equipped with two front panels, along with two optional annexes, it also comes with fully zippable doors, along with a fibre glass frame and quality locking systems.
And if you really want to go all out, you could do a lot, lot worse than the bells and whistles attached President Vario 350 Dorema awning. Fully capable of being used all year round, the President Vario 350 Dorema awning comes with a depth of 350 centimetres. It actually comes with an optional partition wall for the awning – that is how big this awning can get!
Other models include the Escada, the exclusive and the Montana, along with the Senator Lux. All of these models are extremely spacious and comfortable, although not as large as thePresident Vario 350 Dorema awning.
Price wouldn’t be a primary consideration for you if you are in the market for a Dorema awning, but a word of caution might be in order. Try not to purchase a Dorema awning that has been made from poor quality material. It might mean some money saved now – but remember, you purchased a Dorema Awning precisely because space was more important than cost, so spend wisely now, and reap the benefits for years and years. Happy traveling!
